A few months back I went to a routine hospital appointment and they basically told me I was morbidly obese (according to their charts) and needed to lose 4 stone or my health would deteriorate faster and so my new journey with Slimming World began
My consultant was really welcoming and I felt determined to lose the weight this time. So far, I have lost 12.5lbs and feel really motivated to keep going. One of the reasons in the past as to why I kept giving up was I felt bored with the meals I had been doing, especially breakfasts. Normally I would just stick to weetabix or porridge, but then I found a recipe called "Overnight Oats" and my breakfast routine is now something I look forward to.
The ingredients are:-
35g porridge oats
200g fat free natural yoghurt
1.Layer the porridge, yoghurt and fruit in a jar or bowl.
2. Cover and put in the refrigerator overnight so the porridge absorbs all the yoghurt.
3.In the morning mix all the ingredients together and then if you want, add more fruit.
This breakfast is so delicious and does not even taste like a breakfast! It truly feels like you are having a yummy dessert for breakfast. If you have not tried Overnight Oats you should,they are really healthy and really delicious.
